Job Summary

As a Remote Live Chat Agent, you'll be the first point of contact for customers seeking assistance through our live chat platform. You'll handle a variety of inquiries, including ticket bookings, flight status updates, baggage concerns, and general customer service questions. You'll need to navigate our comprehensive information systems efficiently, providing accurate and timely information to ensure customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

As a Remote Live Chat Agent, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Responding to customer inquiries promptly and professionally via live chat
  • Providing accurate information regarding flights, bookings, baggage policies, and other inquiries
  • Troubleshooting issues and providing effective solutions in a timely manner
  • Documenting customer interactions and updating records consistently
  • Escalating unresolved issues to the appropriate department when necessary
  • Maintaining a high level of product knowledge to ensure accurate information delivery
  • Meeting or exceeding performance metrics related to response times, customer satisfaction, and ticket resolution

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need to possess:

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Proficient in basic computer skills and familiarity with remote communication tools
  • Ability to type at least 40 words per minute
  • Previous customer service experience preferred
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

Educational Qualifications

While a High School Diploma or equivalent is required, additional certifications in customer service or related fields are a plus.

Experience

Previous experience in a customer service role is preferred but not mandatory. Training will be provided to all new hires to ensure your success in this role.
