Job Summary
As a Patient Registration Representative, you'll play a vital role in helping our patients navigate the registration process. You'll be the first point of contact for patients, answering their questions, addressing their concerns, and providing exceptional customer service. Your primary responsibility will be to collect accurate and timely information from patients, while also building trust and rapport with them. You'll work in a fast-paced environment, often on your feet, and will be required to multitask and adapt to changing situations.
Key Responsibilities
* Collect patient and insurance information accurately and efficiently
- Answer patient questions and address their concerns in a compassionate and empathetic manner
- Work across multiple screens and programs to input information quickly and accurately
- Collaborate with clinicians to ensure seamless registration process
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and their families
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines
- Participate in ongoing training and education to stay up-to-date on healthcare policies and procedures
- Work effectively in a team environment to achieve common goals
Requirements
* High School Diploma or GED
- Excellent customer service experience
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn new software applications
- Ability to work on your feet for extended periods
Preferred Qualifications
* Previous experience in healthcare or customer service
