Experienced Crisis Intervention Specialist – 988 Chat/Text Support for arenaflex

We're seeking an experienced Crisis Intervention Specialist to join our 24/7/365 mental health crisis/suicide prevention focused team. As a remote position, you'll handle incoming chat/text messages through the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline (NSPL), also known as 988. Your primary responsibility will be to provide brief clinical screenings, risk assessments, and appropriate service linkage for individuals experiencing emotional distress.

Job Summary
As a Crisis Intervention Specialist, you'll be responsible for providing telephonic or chat clinical screenings and risk assessments. You'll answer crisis contacts via the chat/text platform to assess for suicide, safety, and identify appropriate community resources to meet individual needs. You'll also conduct follow-up calls for individuals deemed moderate to high risk for suicide and meet the ethical and clinical standards in compliance with all accreditation.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
* Provides telephonic or chat clinical screenings and risk assessments
- Answers crisis contacts via the chat/text platform to assess for suicide, safety, and identify appropriate community resources to best meet individual needs
- Conducts follow-up calls for individuals who are deemed moderate to high risk for suicide
- Meets the ethical and clinical standards in compliance with all accreditation
- Actively participates in ongoing supervision, training, and team meetings
- Assist in administrative tasks as needed
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
* Effectively communicate via written, verbal, in-person, and virtual methods
- Demonstrates high-level customer service skills and professional etiquette
- Demonstrates knowledge and competency in providing service linkage and referrals for programs, services, and other community resources
- Knowledge of suicide assessments
- Skill in providing crisis intervention

Compensation
* Pay Range: $19.10-$26.80
