Experienced Customer Service Support Representative – Patient Care and Billing Solutions

Job Summary:

As an Experienced Customer Service Support Representative, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to patients, healthcare providers, and insurance carriers through inbound calls, emails, and other communication channels. You will be the primary point of contact for patients and healthcare providers, resolving billing inquiries, and ensuring a seamless experience. Your passion for delivering outstanding customer service, combined with your ability to navigate complex billing systems, will make you an invaluable asset to our team.

Key Responsibilities:

* Answer 80+ inbound calls per day from patients, healthcare providers, and insurance carriers, providing timely and accurate responses to their inquiries

  • Utilize multiple resources to resolve patient inquiries while on the phone, including but not limited to, patient records, billing systems, and insurance information
  • Maintain performance goals, including but not limited to, call volume, resolution rates, and customer satisfaction scores
  • Participate in a structured training program to become proficient with processes and systems
  • Navigate multiple computer screens and applications to access patient information, billing systems, and other relevant data
  • Perform alpha-numeric data entry with high accuracy and efficiency
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including but not limited to, billing, insurance, and patient services, to resolve complex billing issues
  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive experience for patients, healthcare providers, and insurance carriers

Essential Qualifications:

* Previous experience in customer service, medical billing, or a related field is highly desirable

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a high volume of calls and inquiries
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients, healthcare providers, and insurance carriers
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex billing systems and resolve issues efficiently
  • Proficiency in data entry, with the ability to accurately and efficiently enter patient information and billing data
  • Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, and as part of a team to achieve shared goals
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience working in a remote or virtual environment

  • Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMRs) and billing systems
  • Certification in medical billing or a related field is highly desirable
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills are a plus
