VP, Supply Chain Operations (Remote)

As VP of Supply Chain Operations, your mission is to translate company vision into medium- and long-term operational strategies, while keeping the fulfillment engine running at its best every single day. You will chart the course for operational excellence by building and executing our long-term supply chain strategy. And you will steer all supply chain functions, including restaurant and delivery partnerships and support, and the optimization of our chain of custody framework. You will interface with the market - both restaurants and delivery partners - in strong partnership with our Growth teams and you will align operations teams to our goals to deliver on our dual customer and restaurant promises. You and your teams will champion AI capabilities and automation while bringing a human touch to customer and partner experiences, building an ecosystem grounded in ambitious, transparent expectations.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and steer a multi-year operational strategy that drives step change improvement in our perfect order rate (no issues, no contacts), incorporates current and future trends, widens ezCater's competitive moat, and drives meaningful operational cost leverage.
  • Innovate to unlock best in class order orchestration, delivery cost/pricing, and service levels, not just by measuring and incrementally improving current performance but by evolving existing systems and technology to unlock next-level intelligence and efficiency.
  • Build trusted, committed commercial partnerships by developing shared goals with the Growth team, and seamless experiences for both restaurant and delivery partners in strong, tight partnership with the Growth team. through transparent, robust standards, clear/actionable metrics, and automated feedback loops.
  • Evolve our offering, tools and support such that ezCater orders fit naturally into our partners' fulfillment ecosystem, fueling growth-oriented relationships.
  • Expand automation and intelligence-driven systems by driving performance, scalable consistency and cost efficiency through workflow automation, proactive risk mitigation, partner and customer self service tooling, and smart adoption of AI.
  • Build and lead a highly effective organization spanning across multiple teams. Champion a culture of operational excellence, high performance, accountability and continuous improvement. Actively support leadership development and build a bench of emerging and future leaders.
  • Champion organizational goals by elevating and advocating for innovation, nurturing high-trust partnerships with peers across the business to unlock close collaboration.
  • Set supply chain goals in context of broader company goals., translating business needs and tradeoffs to your peers and to your team in a way that optimizes for the right outcomes and effectively navigates change.

Requirements

  • Expertise: 20+ years of operations experience; 10+ years of progressive leadership experience, ideally in logistics, fulfillment or marketplace environments. Deep knowledge of core operational domains and keen understanding of how they connect to the broader business.
  • Strategic & Analytical Skills : Ability to translate business vision into actionable, scalable strategies; excels at leading through ambiguity, reconciling complex stakeholder needs, and solving high-impact, cross-functional problems.
  • Leadership : Proven success building, managing and inspiring large, diverse teams—including director-level leaders—by creating clarity, fostering alignment, and setting high expectations for accountability and growth.
  • Relationship-Building : Adept relationship building and collaborator, skilled at managing and influencing internal/external stakeholders at all organization levels.
  • Technology & Process Orientation : Adept at leveraging AI, automation, and cutting-edge operational platforms to drive scale, efficiency, and cost savings.
  • Financial Acumen : Demonstrated ability to drive budget planning, financial management, and P&L responsibility to deliver sustainable business results.
  • Communication & Influence:Outstanding interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills—able to drive buy-in with peers, C-suite executives, and enterprise external partners.
  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA strongly preferred.
