As a key member of our Business Operations team, you will play a vital role in supporting our Customer Service Division by accurately and efficiently entering information into our customer information system and other Public Works software.

Key Responsibilities

As a Part-time Data Entry Operator with arenaflex, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Establishing and maintaining utility accounts with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Verifying account eligibility and accessibility to ensure seamless customer service
  • Preparing, distributing, and completing work orders in a timely and efficient manner
  • Preparing files for mass customer communications, including billing statements and other notices
  • Scanning or retaining documents as required
  • Performing monthly audits of incomplete account transfer requests to ensure data integrity
  • Entering data into Key Performance Indicator tracking databases to inform business decisions
  • Performing other related duties as assigned by management

Essential Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or an acceptable equivalency diploma (GED)
  • Two (2) years of experience as a high volume data entry operator or typist
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and data entry software
  • Excellent typing and accuracy skills, with the ability to meet or exceed industry standards
  • 10-key skills testing will be required for consideration
  • Ability to work independently and exercise good judgment in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:

  • Associate's degree in business administration, data entry, or a related field
  • Two (2) years of experience as a high volume data entry operator or typist
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and independently
  • Experience with Public Works software and customer information systems
