Job Summary As an Infrastructure Engineer, you will play a critical role in supporting the design, build, development, and integration of infrastructure required to support our business portfolio or platform stage. You will work closely with skilled specialists to analyze business, application, and technical infrastructure requirements and implement solutions that meet our Innovation standards.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze business, application, and technical infrastructure requirements and support the design, build, development, and integration of infrastructure to support the business portfolio or platform stage. Support initiatives that deliver functional end-to-end infrastructure solutions that implement to Innovation standards. Plan, assign, and manage the efficient use of Functional Support resources for the duration of the development life cycle, across multiple development groups. Manage break/fix, incident, and issue activities across the team. Manage Specialists or potentially Performance Analysts in the local market team. Monitor, control, and report Functional Support usage throughout the development life cycle. Serve as the primary point of contact for business/development groups or vendors needing support in resolving issues. Coordinate Operations resources in the resolution/prevention of issues where necessary. Enforce production confirmation practices. Work with the utilization of technical subject matter expert capability to advance the design of technical solutions/enhancements. Aid in quality assessments by supporting quality rating measures on key changes. Contribute to the development of policies and procedures for the production and administration support capability. Communicate ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) compliance process conformance for incident, issue, and change management.

Essential Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's Degree. Experience: 2+ years of engineering experience in a mainframe environment. Technical Skills: Experience with the design and implementation of mainframe and distributed applications. 2+ years of experience with mainframe infrastructure, hardware, and operating systems. 2+ years of experience monitoring issues, change and incident lines, implementing compliance with ability, root cause analysis, and change quality targets.

Preferred Qualifications

Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience: Previous work in an operations or support role.
