Responsibilities

As a Senior Learning Data Analyst, you'll be responsible for:

• Applying expertise and customer needs assessment to create solutions that meet business requirements
• Analyzing and mitigating risks associated with equipment and projects
• Applying advanced skills in data cleaning strategies and tools, including Alteryx, data visualization tools like Tableau, and other data analytics tools, to create insights that inform data and visualization requests
• Applying advanced skills in SQL, Python, or other reporting languages or tools, to create and maintain advanced solutions for reporting education data
• Supporting escalated and complex data troubleshooting for business customers
• Gathering and interpreting requirements to convert business needs into actionable data and present findings
• Partnering with senior leaders to gain insights and measurements to convert business needs into actionable data presentation requirements
• Identifying strengths and weaknesses of potential solutions, conclusions, or processes to address problems
• Understanding and estimating the effort and cost of a solution
• Working with the Business Intelligence Analyst to resolve issues and share knowledge of tools and strategies
• May perform other job duties as directed by Employee's Leaders

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

• Ability to apply advanced tools to quickly understand and accurately define complex problems to systematically analyze and weigh options to advocate solutions
• Ability to work under stressful conditions and manage time effectively
• Ability to prioritize tasks to meet departmental targets and goals
• Be a self-starter and able to work with minimal supervision to perform assignments and projects
• Understanding of Company policies (e.g., Appearance and Attendance) and expectations of SWA Culture
• Ability to work effectively independently or in a strong customer service and/or team environment
• Willingness and ability to work nights, weekends, and travel as required
• Ability to work under tight time constraints and at times, in stressful conditions
• Ability to design and conduct analyses, as well as synthesize recommendations
• Ability to develop, present, and effectively communicate techniques and ideas to various audiences

Education

* Required: High School Diploma or GED

Experience

* Advanced level experience, with extensive expertise in: + Acquiring data using various tools, including: SQL, Python, Alteryx, Qlikm, Attunity, or other comparable toolsets + Visualization and presentation experience

• Preferred: Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, Visual Basic)
• Preferred: Working experience in Air Operations education and Advance Qualification Program (AQP)

Work Environment and Company Culture

As a hybrid role, you'll work onsite at our Corporate Campus in Dallas, TX, for a minimum of 3 days a week.
