Job Overview

In this dynamic and rewarding role, you will be responsible for responding to customer inquiries via inbound phone calls, live chats, and emails. Your primary objective will be to provide timely, accurate, and courteous support to our customers, addressing their concerns, and resolving issues in a professional and empathetic manner. Project Hours and Commitment

We are seeking dedicated and flexible individuals who can commit to working 20 hours per week for a minimum of 90 days. Our project hours are 24/7, although we are currently recruiting for peak times between 6 AM and 4 PM Pacific Standard Time. Your ability to self-schedule shifts, including at least 10 phone hours per week, and work on weekends (either Saturday or Sunday, with the option for both) is essential.

Orientation and Hourly Rate

Orientation for this project is scheduled to begin on December 23, 2024. The hourly rate for this position will be discussed during the interview phase, and we offer competitive compensation to our team members.

What We're Looking For

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Experience with Zendesk or similar customer support platforms
  • Proven track record of providing Tier 1 level support
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems, inbound calls, chat, and email support
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, particularly with web and mobile apps
  • Ability to multitask in multiple browsers and browser tabs while handling customer communications
  • Technical proficiency with Mac, PC, iOS, Chromebook, Kindle Fire, and Android computers/devices and applications
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to walk customers through complex processes
  • Professional demeanor and strong empathy
  • Reliable internet speed and service

Required Availability and Workspace Requirements

To be considered for this position, you must be willing to self-schedule at least 10 phone hours per week before scheduling any email or chat shifts. You should also be available to work during peak times (6 AM - 4 PM PST) and commit to working at least one weekend day. In terms of workspace requirements, you will need:

  • A dedicated laptop or desktop computer with Windows 10 or above and 8GB Ram
  • A quality headset with a noise-canceling microphone
  • A quiet workspace to take calls
  • Willingness to install MSQ security software and 2FA app on your phone
  • Access to a webcam or smartphone capable of taking pictures
