Job Overview

In this critical role, you will be responsible for providing top-notch customer service to members of a Medicare Advantage plan, addressing their concerns, and ensuring their needs are met. As a key member of our contact center team, you will be the primary point of contact for our members, and your dedication to empathy, active listening, and problem-solving will be essential in building trust and loyalty. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer service to members of a Medicare Advantage plan, responding to their inquiries, and resolving their concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Manage a senior population by exhibiting a strong dedication to empathy and using active listening skills to address members' concerns and provide personalized support.
  • Document calls appropriately to reflect each interaction with members, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Meet and exceed contact center targets for call management, quality, and adherence to schedule, demonstrating a strong commitment to performance excellence.
  • Handle all calls professionally and escalate when necessary, ensuring seamless resolution and minimal disruption to our members.

Operational Hours and Shifts

Our operational hours are Monday through Friday, 8am-8pm EST, with varying shifts available within these hours. During open enrollment, our operational hours will be extended to include weekends, and you may be required to work flexible hours to support our members' needs.

Qualifications and Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 1-2 years of experience in health insurance, Medicare, or Medicaid customer service, with a strong understanding of healthcare policies and procedures.
  • 1 year of customer service experience in a call center environment, with proficiency in using QNXT and other relevant software applications.
  • Knowledge of Member Service, HIPAA, Claims, and Provider Services, with a strong commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to regulatory requirements.
  • High School graduate or GED, with a 2-4 year undergraduate degree or certificate in a related field being a plus.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Experience using dual monitors, multiple applications, and phone simultaneously, with strong keyboard skills and the ability to enter data accurately.

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits

We offer a competitive hourly rate of $18.00 - $20.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. Additionally, this position is eligible for arenaflex's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of our applicable plans. Our benefits package includes:
