Experienced Customer Service Representative – Specialty Mail Order Pharmacy

We're seeking an experienced and compassionate Customer Service Representative to join our team and play a vital role in our Specialty Mail Order Pharmacy.

Job Summary:

As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be the face of arenaflex, providing top-notch phone support to patients receiving life-saving specialty medication treatment. You'll be responsible for the coordination and handling of new prescription requests and reorders, including verifying and renewing benefits, assisting patients with deciphering and entering new or reorder medications into our pharmacy data system, collecting and processing copay sums, obtaining approvals, and collaborating with insurance companies, healthcare providers, and internal teams to resolve and process orders with records of sales or clinical issues.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide exceptional phone support to patients receiving specialty medication treatment, ensuring timely and accurate handling of prescription requests and reorders

  • Verify and renew patient benefits, ensuring seamless processing of prescriptions
  • Assist patients with deciphering and entering new or reorder medications into our pharmacy data system
  • Collect and process copay sums, ensuring accurate and timely payment processing
  • Obtain approvals from insurance companies, healthcare providers, and internal teams to resolve and process orders with records of sales or clinical issues
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve and process orders with records of sales or clinical issues
  • Provide empathetic and compassionate support to patients and clients, ensuring a positive experience with arenaflex

Essential Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution

  • One year of experience in a customer service role, handling and resolving a high volume of complex customer needs via telephone
  • One year of work experience with Windows-based applications, including Windows, Microsoft Office, web navigation, and email applications
  • One year of PC keyboarding experience, skills, and fitness

Preferred Qualifications:

* Healthcare work experience and knowledge of benefits, insurance, medications, and clinical terminology

  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and retention

Skills and Competencies:

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with patients, clients, and internal teams

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to resolve complex customer issues
  • Ability to work in a high-speed environment, with a strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong technical skills, with experience working with Windows-based applications and PC keyboarding
  • Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams to resolve and process orders with records of sales or clinical issues
