About the position As a Machine Learning Engineer at ICA, you will be at the forefront of applying machine learning techniques to solve complex problems and enhance our products and services. Your role will involve developing and implementing machine learning models, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and contributing to the advancement of our AI capabilities. ABOUT YOU: You are a curious and driven Machine Learning Engineer with a strong foundation in Python and hands-on experience building and deploying ML models in cloud environments like AWS. You thrive on solving complex problems with multilayered data and enjoy optimizing algorithms for performance and scalability. Your collaborative mindset allows you to work seamlessly with data scientists, engineers, and product teams to bring intelligent solutions to life. You stay current with the latest ML techniques and tools, and you’re passionate about turning prototypes into production-ready systems that deliver real-world impact.

Responsibilities

  • Study and transform data science prototypes
  • Solve complex problems with multilayered data sets, and optimize existing machine learning libraries and frameworks
  • Design machine learning systems
  • Research and implement appropriate ML algorithms and tools
  • Develop machine learning applications according to requirements
  • Run machine learning tests and experiments
  • Perform statistical analysis and fine-tuning using test results
  • Extend existing ML libraries and frameworks
  • Optimize machine learning algorithms for performance, scalability, and reliability
  • Stay updated with the latest machine learning techniques and technologies, and proactively identify opportunities to apply them in our context
  • Collaborate with data engineers and scientists to build efficient data pipelines for training and deploying machine learning models
  • Monitor and maintain the performance of deployed models, and iterate on them to continuously improve results Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in developing and deploying machine learning models in a professional environment
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Applied Mathematics, or a related field
  • Strong programming skills in Python, with experience in machine learning frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras
  • At least one year of experience with cloud computing services, particularly AWS services like EC2, S3, Lambda, and SageMaker
  • Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms, data structures, and software engineering principles
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on practical business applications
  • Experience with front end application development to support presentation of ML applications
  • Experience in handling large datasets and developing scalable machine learning solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective collaboration with technical and non-technical teams.
  • A continuous learning mindset, with a passion for staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in machine learning and AI.
  • Experience with version control tools like Git, and arenaflex/CD pipelines
