Experienced Customer Service Supervisor – Cement Industry Expertise

Job Summary

As a Customer Service Supervisor at arenaflex, you'll play a critical role in ensuring that our customers receive the best possible service. You'll be responsible for supervising and assisting with customer calls, dispatching and tracking deliveries, and coordinating customer requests. Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Supervisor at arenaflex, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Supervising and assisting with customer calls for cement deliveries and customer requests
  • Supervising and assisting with dispatch and tracking of deliveries for U.S. cement shipping locations
  • Coordinating customer requests for billing questions, credit, pricing, mill reports, MSDS sheets, and certification letters
  • Assisting the credit department with account payment discrepancies, coordinating with customers ticket copy needs or pricing discrepancies
  • Assisting with review of billing collections for plant and terminals
  • Negotiating and maintaining all freight rates for payables and billing
  • Maintaining all freight rate changes in SICLO
  • Reconciling and approving package cement purchases
  • Providing general terminal support, including systems, accounts, mill reports, COD listings, etc.
  • Maintaining and distributing logs for controlled sales plan (allocation) when needed
  • Assisting with customer price records/changes for sales and billing
  • Coordinating trucking and tonnage on cement purchases and/or swaps and inter company cement truck transfers
  • Performing other duties as assigned

Qualifications

To be successful as a Customer Service Supervisor at arenaflex, you'll need:

  • A Bachelor's degree
  • 3-5 years of customer service experience
  • Sales experience preferred

As a Customer Service Supervisor at arenaflex, you'll need to possess:

  • Excellent phone skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to analyze and resolve complex customer issues
  • Knowledge of cement industry products and services
  • Familiarity with SICLO and other relevant systems

Working Conditions

As a Customer Service Supervisor at arenaflex, you'll work in a normal office environment with frequent sitting, standing, and walking.

Physical Requirements

The physical demands of this role are minimal, and you'll be required to perform tasks that are generally considered safe and within your physical capabilities.
