We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Consultant to design and implement a modern, secure, and scalable web-based export management solution. This role will focus on creating intuitive user interfaces for data export submission and review, integrating advanced voting and notification features, and ensuring robust data lineage tracking within an existing AWS data lake. The ideal candidate is an experienced full-stack developer with deep AWS expertise and a strong focus on secure, compliant system design.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop a user-facing web interface to support file selection, upload, and export functionality.
  • Build a review board interface to manage export submissions, including an integrated voting and approval system to determine export destinations.
  • Implement data lineage tracking within the existing data lake to support governance and traceability of export activities.
  • Develop a notification-based alert system to notify stakeholders of new export submissions and status updates.
  • Integrate and automate infrastructure deployment using Infrastructure as Code (IaC), preferably with AWS CDK.
  • Conduct and collaborate on independent code and security reviews to ensure compliance with enterprise security standards.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to align development with architecture, security, and data engineering best practices. Required Skills & Qualifications
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate (Professional and Data Engineer Associate certifications preferred)
  • 7+ years of full-stack software development experience
  • Strong proficiency in TypeScript and modern Web UI frameworks (React and Next.js preferred)
  • Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (AWS CDK, CloudFormation, or Terraform)
  • Deep understanding of AWS services (Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, API Gateway, etc.)
  • Experience managing and optimizing NoSQL databases
  • Background in data engineering and data lake integration
  • Experience implementing ABAC (Attribute-Based Access Control) models
  • Proven ability to design secure, scalable, and maintainable cloud-native applications Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with arenaflex/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks
  • Knowledge of enterprise compliance and security standards
  • Strong collaboration and documentation skills Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. TS/SCI clearance required Compensation and Benefits Salary Range: $180,000-$250,000 (Compensation is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, work experience, skills, education, certifications, seniority, and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.)
