The Opportunity Our Forensic Accounting and Commercial Damages (FACD) practice in Asia Pacific continuous to see success and has rapidly expanded in headcount at the start of 2025. As a result, we are looking for a managing consultant with experience in forensic accounting to join our team. This is an opportunity to work on disputes, forensic accounting and valuations projects across the Asia Pacific region in a variety of industries. In this role, you will execute the following responsibilities in accordance with HKA standards:
  • Assisting experts in formulating inputs into opinions in their respective areas.
  • Deliver and produce draft technical expert reports with appropriate guidance.
  • Researching and analysing quantitative and qualitative data.
  • Conducting financial analysis and investigations.
  • Developing financial models from transactional and financial data.
  • Using relevant software tools for research and analysing data.
  • Communicating results and work product as appropriate, internally and externally to clients.
  • Actively contribute to business development initiatives such as bid and proposal development and being a brand ambassador through different channels (e.g. social media, client events).
  • Maintain and develop relationships with clients. Skills and Experience This is what we are looking for:
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in forensic accounting or similar.
  • You are a strategic thinker who is comfortable working through ambiguity and loves an intellectual challenge.
  • You have strong problem-solving skills, and an attention to detail.
  • You have exceptional written and communication skills.
  • You enjoy a collaborative team environment, where we all contribute our ideas.
  • You have integrity and want to be part of a highly supportive team with strong family values.
  • You have a strong focus on self-management and self-development, actively seeking learning opportunities.
  • You have experience in Forensic Accounting, with exposure to disputes, valuation and/or damages.
  • You will be a Qualified Accountant or have similar qualifications.
