As a remote Part-Time Pharmacy Technician and Customer Service Representative, you will be an integral part of our team, working closely with our Data Entry Manager and other colleagues to provide exceptional customer service and support.
Key Responsibilities
As a Part-Time Pharmacy Technician and Customer Service Representative, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Customer Service: Respond to customer inquiries, resolve complaints, and provide exceptional service to our clients.
- Order Management: Answer phones, respond to orders, re-orders, and general customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Order Clarification: Clarify orders as needed to ensure accurate and timely fulfillment.
- Triage and Fax Management: Triage incoming faxes by facility/department and in accordance with cutoff times.
- Data Entry: Perform duties assigned by the Data Entry Manager, including data entry and other administrative tasks.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills:
- Active NJ Board of Pharmacy, Pharmacy Technician License: You must be licensed as a Pharmacy Technician in the state of New Jersey and have a valid license in good standing.
- Previous Experience in Pharmacy: You must have previous experience working in a pharmacy setting, with a strong understanding of pharmacy operations and procedures.
- LTC Pharmacy Experience: While not required, experience working in a Long-Term Care (LTC) pharmacy setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of Medications: You must have a strong knowledge of brand name and generic medications, including their uses, side effects, and interactions.
- Attention to Detail and Organizational Skills: You must be highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Moderate to Advanced Computer Skills: You must have moderate to advanced computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications.
- Great Telephone Etiquette: You must have excellent telephone etiquette and communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with customers and colleagues.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent: You must have a high school diploma or equivalent, with a strong educational background in a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:
- Frameworks / ECM Knowledge: You must have knowledge of frameworks and ECM (Enterprise Content Management) systems, with experience working with these systems in a previous role.
- Customer Service Experience: You must have previous experience working in a customer-facing role, with a strong understanding of customer service principles and practices.
