Responsibilities

As a Customer Support Assistant, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our clients, while also supporting our e-commerce manager with communication tasks. Your primary responsibilities will include: - Resolving Customer Issues: You'll be responsible for calling customers to resolve issues related to orders or cart abandonment. Your goal will be to provide a positive and resolution-focused experience for our customers. - Supplier Communication: You'll also be responsible for contacting suppliers to follow up on order issues or product questions. Your attention to detail and ability to communicate effectively will be essential in building strong relationships with our suppliers. - Supporting the E-commerce Manager: You'll work closely with our e-commerce manager to handle communication tasks that require phone calls. Your ability to multitask and prioritize tasks will be essential in ensuring that our customers receive the best possible service. - Process Improvements: Occasionally, you'll have the opportunity to suggest process improvements related to customer recovery and communication. Your input will be invaluable in helping us to refine our processes and improve our customer experience.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess the following skills and qualifications: - Organizational Skills: You'll need to be highly organized and able to prioritize tasks effectively. Your attention to detail and ability to multitask will be essential in ensuring that our customers receive the best possible service. - Communication Skills: You'll need to be comfortable making calls in English and able to communicate effectively with customers and suppliers. Your ability to build strong relationships and resolve issues will be essential in this role. - Availability: You'll need to be available to take quick tasks during US business hours, without requiring much notice. Your flexibility and ability to adapt to changing priorities will be essential in this role. - Experience: Previous experience in customer support is essential, with e-commerce experience preferred but not required. Your ability to work with evolving tasks and minimal supervision will be essential in this role.

Essential Qualifications

- High school diploma or equivalent required - Previous experience in customer support (e-commerce experience preferred but not required) - Comfortable making calls in English - Available to take quick tasks during US business hours, without requiring much notice - Ability to work with evolving tasks and minimal supervision

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g. business, marketing, communications) - Previous experience in e-commerce or a related field - Proficiency in CRM software (e.g. Salesforce, HubSpot) - Experience with process improvement and customer experience design
