Role Summary

As an Online Chat Agent at arenaflex, you'll play a vital role in providing timely, text-based assistance to our global customer base. You'll be responsible for responding to live chat inquiries, assisting customers with account access, billing inquiries, subscription management, and technical issues. Our comprehensive training program will equip you with the skills and knowledge needed to deliver consistent and professional support.

Key Responsibilities

- Respond to live chat inquiries quickly and professionally, using scripted responses and company workflows to ensure consistency and quality. - Assist customers with password resets, billing updates, and subscription changes, providing clear and concise solutions to their queries. - Follow company scripts and standard operating procedures to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and support. - Document conversations and escalate issues as necessary, ensuring that customer concerns are addressed promptly and efficiently. - Maintain a courteous and empathetic communication style, building trust and rapport with our customers.

Technical & Skills Requirements

- Laptop or desktop computer: With Google Chrome installed, ensuring seamless access to our chat platform. - Reliable internet connection: Minimum 10 Mbps speed required for smooth and efficient communication. - Typing speed: 45 WPM or higher, enabling you to respond quickly and accurately to customer inquiries. - Excellent written English communication skills: Clearly and concisely articulate solutions to customer queries, using proper grammar and spelling. - Ability to multitask and follow instructions: Prioritize tasks, manage multiple conversations, and adhere to company procedures to deliver exceptional support.

Compensation & Scheduling

- Starting pay: $25/hour, with opportunities for raises to $30-$35/hour after 30 QA-approved shifts. - Shift selection: Self-directed via online scheduler, ensuring flexibility and control over your work schedule. - Minimum hours: 15 hours per week, with opportunities to increase your hours based on performance and customer demand.

Training & Onboarding

- 2-hour online onboarding session: Comprehensive training to introduce you to our chat platform, company procedures, and customer support best practices. - Practice chats: Simulated conversations with customers to help you build confidence and develop your skills. - First live shift monitored by QA: Our quality assurance team will review your performance, providing feedback and guidance to ensure your success. - Paid work begins within 3-5 business days: Start earning a competitive hourly rate, with opportunities for raises and career growth.

During a typical shift, you might assist customers resetting passwords, applying discount codes, and updating billing information—all via live chat using company-approved templates.
