Job Summary
The Customer Service Associate is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support to our customers in a fast-paced retail environment. As a key member of our store operations team, you will be responsible for:
- Greeting customers and responding to their inquiries in a friendly and professional manner
- Resolving customer complaints and issues in a timely and effective manner
- Maintaining a clean and organized store environment, including the sales floor, stockroom, and customer service areas
- Processing transactions, handling returns and exchanges, and resolving customer issues related to products and services
- Collaborating with other team members to achieve sales goals and objectives
- Participating in ongoing training and development programs to enhance customer service skills and product knowledge
Key Responsibilities
* Provide exceptional customer service and support to customers in a fast-paced retail environment
- Respond to customer inquiries and resolve complaints in a timely and effective manner
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the sales floor, stockroom, and customer service areas
- Process transactions, handle returns and exchanges, and resolve customer issues related to products and services
- Collaborate with other team members to achieve sales goals and objectives
- Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance customer service skills and product knowledge
- Maintain accurate records and reports, including sales data, customer feedback, and inventory levels
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
Essential Qualifications
* High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1-2 years of customer service experience in a retail or related environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a point-of-sale system
- Availability to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends
Preferred Qualifications
* 2+ years of customer service experience in a retail or related environment
- Experience working in a team environment and collaborating with others to achieve sales goals and objectives
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with point-of-sale systems
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time
- High school diploma or equivalent and some college coursework or a degree in a related field
