GoHighLevel Funnel & Automation Specialist (Part-Time Freelance → Potential Full-Time)

Honeytree Technologies is hiring a HighLevel (GoHighLevel / GHL) workflow & automation specialist to help build, manage, and optimize marketing systems for our clients. This role starts as a part-time freelance position and is ideal for someone who already works extensively inside HighLevel. As client demand grows, the position may expand into a full-time role for the right candidate. Your primary responsibility will be ensuring that HighLevel’s AI tools, automations, workflows, funnels, and CRM systems are configured correctly and running optimally. The goal is simple: build and maintain systems that remove friction, reduce manual work, and make marketing and customer management easier, smoother, and more effective for business owners and their teams. In this role, you’ll ensure that the systems behind marketing and customer communication actually work the way they should—reliably, intelligently, and in ways that make the daily work of business owners and marketers simpler, faster, and more enjoyable. You’ll help turn complex marketing technology into clear, dependable systems that support growth without creating chaos.

Key Responsibilities

Automation & Workflow Optimization

  • Build, test, and maintain GoHighLevel workflows using triggers, tags, pipelines, and conditional logic
  • Ensure automations run reliably and are structured for long-term scalability
  • Identify inefficiencies and improve existing workflows

AI Agent Configuration & Optimization

  • Configure and monitor HighLevel AI agents and conversational tools
  • Ensure AI responses, routing, and follow-up actions align with client goals
  • Improve AI interactions so they feel helpful, accurate, and natural to prospects and customers

Funnel Development

  • Build and optimize conversion-focused funnels within HighLevel
  • Configure opt-in pages, booking funnels, lead capture forms, and upsell flows

CRM System Health

  • Maintain organized pipelines, tags, and contact management systems
  • Ensure data flows correctly between funnels, automations, and CRM stages

Integrations & System Connections

  • Connect HighLevel with third-party platforms using native integrations, Zapier, and webhooks
  • Troubleshoot automation failures or data flow issues between systems

WordPress & Page Support

  • Embed or customize HighLevel funnels and forms within WordPress pages when needed
  • Troubleshoot conflicts or formatting issues

Performance Monitoring & Improvements

  • Monitor automation performance and funnel conversions
  • Recommend improvements that simplify processes and improve results

Collaboration

  • Work with designers, strategists, and marketers to turn campaign ideas into reliable technical systems

Job Types: Part-time, Contract Pay: $15.00 - $40.00 per hour Benefits:
