Key Responsibilities

• * Provide academic coaching to students, offering personalized support in various subjects.
• * Monitor and assess student progress, identify academic weaknesses, and tailor lesson plans to meet individual needs.
• * Assist students with assignments, exams, and coursework, ensuring clarity and understanding of concepts.
• * Offer motivational support to students, enhancing their confidence and improving study habits.
• * Collaborate with students parents (if applicable) to provide updates on progress and discuss areas for improvement.
• * Create and maintain student records to track their academic development and set future goals.
• * Utilize educational tools and technology to facilitate virtual learning and enhance the student experience.
• * Stay up-to-date with educational trends, methods, and best practices to ensure the best service for students.
• Required Skills and Qualifications
• * Bachelors degree in Education, or any related field. A Masters degree is an advantage.
• * Strong academic background with proficiency in subjects such as Mathematics, English, Science, and Humanities.
• * Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• * Patience and empathy, with the ability to understand and relate to students learning needs.
• * Proven ability to deliver educational content effectively in a virtual environment.
• * Strong organizational skills to track progress and manage multiple students.
• * Tech-savvy, with proficiency in using online learning platforms, video conferencing tools, and digital educational resources.
• * Previous tutoring or coaching experience is preferred but not required.
• Experience
• * At least 1 year of experience in teaching, tutoring, or academic coaching is preferred.
• * Experience with virtual learning platforms and online teaching is a plus.
• * Prior experience working with students from diverse backgrounds is an advantage.
• Working Hours
• * This is a flexible, part-time position.
• * The expected commitment is between 10-20 hours per week, based on student needs and your availability.
