This will be a hybrid role based out of our corporate headquarters in Lakeville, MA with Mondays & Fridays remote. A Day in the Life of an Associate Manager-Cold Chain Logistics:

• Responsible for the achievement of corporate strategies and business goals related to Operations Planning in the area of Cold Chain Logistics.
• Manage Harvest Freight budget of $10M.
• Manage and co negotiate Harvest Freight Contracts with upward approval
• Manage harvest freight execution of up to 15 Harvest Carriers across 7 growing regions.
• Review frozen carrier lane rates with transportation manager for interarea fruit transfers and align on cost effective carrier plan that includes both harvest freight and frozen fruit transfers costs.
• Provide input on Cranberry Storage & Transportation Budget as it relates to

• Interarea fruit transfers
• Concentrate Freight
• Harvest Freight
• In coordination with Ag Area Operations manager develop and implement harvest logistics plan to include:

• Carriers
• Freezers
• Harvest Calendar
• Estimated harvest daily volumes and distribution by carriers and freezers.
• Conduct all-inclusive annual preharvest meetings.

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor’s Degree with 5-7 years of experience required
• Ability to prioritize and shift responsibilities
• Ability to make quality data-drive decisions
• Aptitude for quantitative analysis, strategic and tactical thinking, and detailed planning
• Strong communication, management and organizational skills
