This includes abstraction, review, and reporting of medical record clinical documentation into a data collection tool to evaluate the quality of care provided to Medicaid members. You will play a critical role in ensuring timely and accurate abstraction that will be used to evaluate Medicaid program quality.Responsibilities:Facilitate activities to ensure timely and accurate chart abstraction on patient medical records for a set of eight HEDIS measures, including clinical review, administrative support, and quality assuranceCollaborate with the abstraction team to ensure that plans, tasks, and timelines meet contractual and Company requirements and guidelinesProvide regular updates to Company management on the activity and/or status of abstractionParticipate in activities to ensure high-quality abstraction, including participation in training, weekly clinical review, and overreadCommunicate directly with healthcare organizations to request follow-up medical record information as needed and ensure timeliness and completeness of medical recordsQualifications:RN or LPNFive years of experience preferred working in direct collaboration with providers, population health or public health, and/or health care quality improvementExperience with chart-based HEDIS measure abstractionExperience with overread processesFamiliarity with chart measure request process and health care settingsKnowledge of the following healthcare quality principles (preferred)Healthcare services, healthcare organizations, and programsInformation management processes, electronic health records, and healthcare information technologyEffective communication - both written and verbalExperience working in a virtual environmentS2Tech is committed to hiring and retaining a diverse workforce.
