[Remote] Associate Attorney

They are seeking an Associate Attorney to work closely with partners on complex wrongful death and catastrophic injury cases, focusing primarily on commercial motor vehicle litigation while developing litigation skills.

Responsibilities

  • Work directly with the Partners
  • Conduct complex legal research and writing on sophisticated matters
  • Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other litigation documents
  • Help strategize on the firm's largest and most challenging cases
  • Handle depositions, hearings, and comprehensive trial preparation
  • Serve as second chair at trial alongside Partners
  • Work on cases across multiple venues and jurisdictions
  • Focus primarily on commercial motor vehicle litigation
  • Collaborate with experienced attorneys and learn advanced trial advocacy techniques
  • Support the firm in delivering exceptional results for clients facing life-changing injuries

Skills

  • Active license to practice law in Texas (or ability to obtain)
  • Strong legal research and writing capabilities
  • Experience or strong interest in personal injury/tort litigation
  • Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Detail-oriented with exceptional accuracy in legal documentation
  • Strong oral advocacy and communication skills
  • Ability to handle complex, high-pressure cases with multiple deadlines
  • Collaborative mindset and eagerness to learn from senior trial attorneys
