[Remote] Premium Operations Associate

The Premium Operations Associate supports the processing of premium and commission transactions, ensuring data accuracy and compliance while learning core operational processes.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the entry, validation, and reconciliation of premium data from agents and brokers
• Support the processing of premium adjustments and commission calculations under the guidance of senior team members
• Support billing processing with entry into applicable systems
• Monitor incoming payments and assist in verifying the accuracy of cash application records
• Help prepare reports and documentation for internal use and external audits
• Communicate with internal stakeholders to resolve basic discrepancies or data issues
• Maintain accurate records and follow established procedures to ensure compliance and consistency
• Participate in training and development activities to build knowledge of insurance operations and systems
• Support process improvement initiatives by identifying inefficiencies and suggesting enhancements

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and willingness to learn new tools and systems
• 6 months to 3 years of experience in insurance (operations), finance, or administrative operations
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Insurance, or a related field preferred
• Loss sensitive adjustment experience preferred, but not required
• Internship or coursework related to insurance or financial services is a plus
