[Remote] Video Editor & Producer (Seasonal)
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Major League Baseball (MLB) is a historic professional sports league in the United States and Canada. They are seeking a part-time Video Content Producer to work with the MLB Pipeline and Minor League Baseball editorial team to produce and edit video content for their platforms.
Responsibilities
- Craft high-impact videos celebrating the world of Minor League Baseball
- Review existing and new assets from Live Content Creators (LCCs) to identify content possibilities
- Work with team members to request specific LCC captures ahead of games/events
- Collaborate with reporters and producers to create paired video content for written site content, as well as social-first versions
- Apply platform-specific best practices related to pacing, audience retention, thumbnails, titling, and overall performance optimization
Skills
- Adobe Creative Suite proficiency
- Social media (IG, TikTok, YouTube, X, etc.) fluency
- Experience with cross-platform multimedia storytelling
- Ability to work quickly and occasionally under pressure
- Love of baseball and knowledge of Minor League Baseball a plus
