Deliver. As a Sales Design Consultant, you’ll play a pivotal role in transforming backyard dreams into stunning, custom-built realities. This position is more than sales—it’s about creating exceptional experiences, one pool at a time. Operating within your assigned territory, you’ll identify new business opportunities, design innovative and high-quality inground pools, and guide clients through every phase of their project. From first consultation to final walkthrough, you’ll ensure each homeowner feels confident, informed, and excited about their investment. Key Responsibilities: ● Drive New Business: Proactively seek and develop new customer relationships through targeted sales and marketing strategies that increase revenue and brand presence. ● Design Excellence: Create custom pool designs tailored to the client’s lifestyle, aesthetic preferences, and budget—delivering both form and function. ● Exceptional Customer Experience: Act as the trusted advisor throughout the entire pool-building journey, maintaining clear communication and delivering on expectations. ● Territory Management: Build a strong local presence by engaging with communities, attending events, and networking within the pool and outdoor living industry. ● CRM Mastery: Utilize HubSpot to manage leads, track activity, log communications, and ensure complete deal visibility and follow-through. ● Strategic Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams—including construction, operations, and marketing—to streamline project timelines and elevate client satisfaction. ● Business Development: Explore untapped markets, foster referral networks, and position Blue Haven Pools as the leading choice for quality and innovation in pool construction. What You Bring: ● Strong interpersonal skills with a passion for client connection and relationship-building ● A sharp eye for design, detail, and delivering creative outdoor solutions ● Proven experience in sales, business development, or related fields—preferably in home improvement, luxury goods, or construction ● Professionalism, integrity, urgency and a results-driven mindset ● Proficiency in CRM platforms (HubSpot preferred) and a commitment to process and performance tracking ● A self-starter attitude with a commitment to achieving—and exceeding—sales goals Key Responsibilities: ● Drive New Business Growth: Proactively generate sales opportunities by leveraging inbound marketing leads, historical databases, targeted prospecting, client referrals, and your personal network—turning every connection into a potential client. ● Territory Sales Management: Develop and manage new and existing customers within your assigned region to consistently meet or exceed sales targets. ● Client-Focused Strategy: Create tailored, region-specific business plans and customer engagement strategies that strengthen relationships and deliver long-term value to each client. ● Design Expertise & Consultation: Use your in-depth product and design knowledge to educate clients on pool features, recommend creative solutions, and ensure each project aligns with the client’s vision, goals and budget. ● Market Insight & Trend Awareness: Stay ahead of evolving market conditions, competitor activity, and design trends—capitalizing on insights to position Blue Haven as a clear industry leader. ● Strategic Forecasting & Budgeting: Contribute to forecasting, planning, and budgeting processes with data-driven insights, helping to expand our market footprint and improve profitability. ● Project Innovation & Problem Solving: Take the lead on resolving design and construction challenges, ensuring a smooth and successful project delivery that meets or exceeds expectations. ● Deal Negotiation & Closings: Strategically negotiate pricing and finalize deals that balance strong profitability with exceptional customer satisfaction. ● Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with internal teams—from construction and design to marketing and customer service—to drive continuous innovation and deliver customer-friendly products and experiences. ● CRM Excellence: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in HubSpot, including leads, contacts, appointments, activities, and project milestones—ensuring timely follow-ups and exceptional client engagement.
