The Faculty Affairs Program Coordinator is responsible for managing and executing programs and projects within the Office of Faculty Affairs, coordinating activities, events, and ensuring effective communication among stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Managing and executing programs and projects within the Office of Faculty Affairs
  • Coordinating project activities, events, and workshops
  • Maintaining detailed project documentation
  • Ensuring effective communication among team members and stakeholders
  • Assisting in scheduling meetings and preparing reports
  • Preparing and distributing project communication
  • Tracking project progress to ensure timely completion of deliverables
  • Managing administrative tasks such as maintaining project files
  • Engaging key contributors from various university units and external stakeholders

Skills

  • Bachelor's degree and one year of experience related to the area of assignment; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools (e.g. Microsoft Planner, Asana, Monday.com)
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks efficiently
  • Experience working with senior executives or academic leaders
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Familiarity with recognition programs, awards and teaching programs in higher education
  • Willingness to work occasional evenings for events
