Synex Talent is seeking a Solutions Architect to join our innovative Engineering/Technology team. This full-time, remote position is based in Northborough and offers a unique opportunity to shape and deliver technology solutions that meet the evolving needs of our clients in the Information Technology industry.

As a Solutions Architect, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing robust architecture solutions that facilitate seamless integration and enhance system performance. You will collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure that the solutions align with business objectives and technical requirements. This position not only focuses on technical excellence but also on fostering strong relationships with clients and team members to drive project success.

We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $150,000 annually, along with comprehensive benefits and a supportive environment for professional growth.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement scalable architecture solutions for various applications
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure architectural integrity
  • Assess and recommend appropriate technologies and tools
  • Document architectural decisions and create technical specifications
  • Engage with clients to gather requirements and understand business needs
  • Conduct system performance analysis and optimization
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior architects and engineers
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in software development and architecture
  • Proficiency in cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Strong understanding of microservices architecture and APIs
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and analytical mindset
  • Effective communication and collaboration abilities
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and software development lifecycle
  • Certifications in architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman) are a plus
