Guest Port Services Specialist - Aman at Sea

Remote, USA Full-time Posted 2026-06-16

Join our dynamic corporate team and become part of Aman Group. With offices strategically located around the world (Zug, London, Dubai, Singapore, Bangkok, Miami and New York), our corporate colleagues are at the forefront of driving innovation and excellence for our ultra-luxury brand.

Role

Aman is seeking a highly organized Guest Port Services Specialist to oversee all shoreside activities supporting Amangati’s turnaround operations. This role manages arrival, debarkation, embarkation, guest transfers, and port‑side logistics to ensure a seamless and ultra‑luxury guest journey. Acting as the key liaison between Aman at Sea, Columbia Shipmanagement, port agents, hotels, transportation providers, and ground teams, you will drive precise coordination across all stakeholders. Through detailed planning and real-time problem solving, the Specialist proactively mitigates operational risks and minimizes delays. Every ship‑to‑shore transition you oversee will reflect the exceptional standards synonymous with the Aman brand.

Responsibilities

  • Lead comprehensive pre-planning for each turnaround port call, including scheduling, resource allocation (personnel, vehicles, equipment), guest segmentation, and contingency design.
  •  Conduct site inspections, risk assessments, and operational feasibility evaluations to ensure every port call meets Aman at Sea standards.
  •   Establish, refine, and continuously elevate turnaround SOPs, operational playbooks, checklists, and contingency frameworks.
  • Forecast staffing, equipment, and ground service requirements, recruit, train, and pre-brief local or temporary teams to Aman at Sea’s service standards.
  • Oversee real-time execution onsite (or through local presence), making decisive, guest-centric operational decisions.
  • Design and manage seamless debarkation and embarkation experiences, preserving guest privacy and minimizing visible operational friction.
  •  Oversee premium baggage handling, VIP arrangements, priority services, and special assistance requirements.
  •  Manage all guest transfer logistics between ship, airports, hotels, and bespoke destinations with punctuality and discretion.
  • Serve as the principal liaison between shipboard operations, itinerary planning, port agents, terminal operators, regulatory bodies, and luxury ground partners.
  • Develop and nurture strategic relationships with port authorities, transfer operators, hotels, and destination service providers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Hospitality, Logistics, Tourism, or a related discipline (or equivalent professional experience).
  • 5–8+ years of experience in cruise operations, luxury shore operations, destination management, port operations, or complex logistics environments.
  • Demonstrated experience in turnaround operations, guest logistics, ground services, or port coordination strongly preferred.
  • Experience within ultra-luxury hospitality, yachting, or high-touch travel environments is highly desirable.
  •  Established network relationships with port and ground service stakeholders.

Benefits Joining Aman at Sea means becoming part of one of the world’s most exclusive ultra-luxury brands. We offer competitive compensation, exceptional benefits, and opportunities for professional growth, along with the chance to play a key role in shaping a new standard in ultra-luxury at sea.
