A bit about this role:

  • The Team: Join Devoted Medical’s Responsive Care team, where we are reimagining primary and virtual care through a relationship-centered model powered by cutting-edge AI infrastructure.

  • The Mission: As the Senior Manager of Clinical Operations, you will be the lead architect building the "operating system" for centralized clinical services—from urgent virtual care to pharmacy and lab workflows.

  • The Impact: You will define how clinicians and AI agents work together in practice, creating the frameworks that allow our care model to scale from thousands to millions of members.

  • Reporting & Collaboration: Reporting to the Senior Director of Clinical Operations, you’ll partner with Medical Directors and Product/Data teams to move initiatives from blank-page concepts to scaled execution.

  • The Vibe: This is a "0→1" role designed for a systems-thinker who thrives in ambiguity and is excited by the challenge of blending clinical excellence with technical innovation.

Required skills and experience:

  • Experience: 5+ years in clinical, healthcare, or product operations (or similar complex environments) with a proven track record of owning measurable outcomes.

  • Systems Building: Demonstrated experience scaling operational systems from the ground up or leading significant organizational transformations.

  • Analytical Rigor: Strong ability to define KPIs from first principles and use data (Excel, SQL, or BI tools) to drive decision-making.

  • Tech Partnership: Experience working directly with Product and Engineering teams to translate operational needs into technical system requirements.

  • Communication: Outstanding written and verbal skills with the ability to drive clarity across diverse stakeholder groups in a remote-first environment.

Desired skills and experience:

  • Healthcare Fluency: Deep understanding of the healthcare ecosystem (payer, health system, or digital health) and triage/assignment frameworks.

  • AI & Automation: Hands-on experience or a strong curiosity for applying AI/LLMs to operational workflows and human-in-the-loop oversight models.

Your Responsibilities and Impact will include:

  • Design the Operating System: Architect the workflows and ownership models for centralized clinical services, translating clinical intent into scalable, AI-supported processes.

  • Own the Human-AI Model: Establish the protocols for how clinicians and AI systems collaborate, ensuring clear escalation paths, safety guardrails, and quality oversight.

  • Drive Performance: Define and track KPIs across access, resolution time, and automation coverage, ruthlessly prioritizing the highest-leverage improvements.

  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Lead the implementation of workflows that bridge Responsive Care, Specialty Care, and Care Access, moving projects from whiteboard to full integration.

  • Data-Driven Redesign: Use quantitative insights to identify friction points in care delivery and turn those insights into system-wide redesigns.

  • Enable AI Fluency: Build programs that equip clinical staff with the skills to effectively supervise and collaborate with AI systems, foster
