These factories deliver AI/ML Applications, Data Science Platforms, Blockchain and Microservices for DoD, Healthcare and Civilian Agencies Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Lead Web Developer to serve as a technical subject matter expert, responsible for designing, developing, and securing enterprise-grade web applications. This role requires strong leadership, hands-on development expertise, and the ability to collaborate across Agile teams to deliver scalable and secure solutions. The ideal candidate will bring deep experience in Microsoft-based technologies, web security, and full software development lifecycle execution. Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design, development, and deployment of secure, scalable web applications.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to developers, testers, and product teams.
  • Collaborate with application owners and stakeholders to gather requirements and demonstrate prototypes prior to release.
  • Ensure high standards of website security, accessibility, and performance.
  • Develop and maintain systems supporting budgeting, payment workflows, and end-of-year processing.
  • Oversee development of interfaces, access controls, data validation, workflows, and content management.
  • Implement and enforce Agile methodologies and best practices across teams.
  • Ensure compliance with CMMI Level 3 software development processes.
  • Participate in full SDLC: requirements analysis, design documentation, development, testing, and deployment planning.
  • Act as the primary technical point of contact and problem solver for complex application challenges.
Required Skills:
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related technical field (required)
  • Master’s degree (MBA, MSIS, MCS) – preferred
  • Full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC): requirements analysis, design, development, testing, and implementation planning.
  • Building and delivering complex enterprise-level web applications.
  • Technical Experience (Minimum 2+ Years)
  • Web development using Microsoft .NET platform
  • Programming languages & technologies: ASP.NET, C#, HTML, XML
  • Database management using Microsoft SQL Server
  • Secure data transfer protocols such as SFTP
  • Experience securing web-based applications and implementing access controls
  • Working in Agile teams (developers, testers, product owners)
  • Collaboration with stakeholders and demonstrating working prototypes
  • Process & Domain Experience
  • Knowledge of CMMI Level 3 development processes
  • Experience with role-based systems, financial workflows, and accounting-related applications
Certifications Preferred:
  • Microsoft Certifications (e.g., MCSD, MCAD, MCPD, or equivalent)
  • Cloud Certifications: AWS / Azure / Google Cloud
  • Web Certifications: CIW Web Development Professional, CWP
  • Security Certifications: Security+, CSSLP
