Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Customer Retention Representative to join our team at arenaflex. As a Customer Retention Representative, you will play a vital role in ensuring that customers who call in with the intention of canceling are provided assistance in understanding the importance of keeping their coverage, as well as providing policy maintenance. This is a remote work from home position, offering the flexibility and autonomy to work from the comfort of your own home.

Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Retention Representative at arenaflex, you will be responsible for:

  • Handling inbound and outbound telephone calls with customers who are calling to cancel their insurance coverage and/or place calls to current policyholders regarding coverage, premium due, as well as other policy information.
  • Answering questions about policy benefits and premiums and accurately documenting the information on the appropriate database.
  • Providing exceptional customer service, ensuring that customers feel valued and supported throughout the process.
  • Utilizing your excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with customers and resolve any issues or concerns they may have.
  • Maintaining accurate records and data entry, ensuring that all customer interactions are properly documented and tracked.

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Customer service experience, preferably in a call center or insurance industry setting
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with customers and colleagues
  • Superior customer service skills, with a friendly, efficient, and good listener approach
  • Proficient use of the computer, keyboard functions, and Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to work under pressure and multi-task, with a strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Must be detail-oriented with the ability to analyze information and make logical conclusions
  • Have a desire to learn and grow within the Company
  • Must type 30 words per minute, pre-employment assessment required
