Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at Telehealth Platform

About the position MindFriend is a pioneering telehealth platform dedicated to transforming mental health and wellness through cutting-edge technology and AI innovation. We are rapidly growing and seek a visionary Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to drive our technology strategy and lead our engineering and product teams. As CTO, you will set the overall technology vision, lead development efforts across web, mobile, and AI platforms, and ensure the delivery of scalable and secure digital health solutions. You will collaborate closely with leadership to shape product direction and scale our telehealth services globally.

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the technology strategy and roadmap aligned with MindFriend’s business goals
  • Lead and inspire engineering, AI, and product teams to deliver high-quality digital health products
  • Oversee the architecture and continuous improvement of our web, mobile, and AI-powered telehealth platforms
  • Champion best practices in software development, system scalability, security, and compliance with healthcare regulations
  • Drive innovation through evaluating and integrating emerging technologies, particularly AI and machine learning
  • Manage cloud infrastructure, DevOps processes, and overall system reliability
  • Maintain robust data privacy and security standards in compliance with regulations such as GDPR and HIPAA
  • Collaborate with cross-functional leadership teams to align technology with product and business needs
  • Build the Team: Recruit, hire, and mentor a team high-performing engineers.
  • Quality Control: Manage the team's daily output, conduct rigorous code reviews, and ensure all features are rigorously tested and bug-free before deployment.
  • Technical Strategy: Set the technical roadmap, choose the right tech stack, and align engineering goals with our overarching business objectives.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience leading technology teams in software engineering and product development
  • Proven track record of defining and executing technology roadmaps at a senior leadership level
  • Expertise in building and scaling telehealth or digital health platforms including web and mobile applications
  • Strong understanding of AI technologies and ability to integrate AI/ML into healthcare products
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure and DevOps practices
  • Knowledge of healthcare data privacy standards including GDPR and HIPAA compliance
  • Skilled in architecture design for scalable, secure, and reliable systems
  • Experience managing real-time communication technologies like WebRTC and video consultation infrastructure
  • Proficiency with modern web frameworks (React, Node.js, Next.js) and mobile development platforms (iOS, Android, React Native, Flutter)
  • Familiarity with API design, microservices, and payment integration systems (e.g., Stripe)
  • 10+ years experience in software engineering with at least 5 years in senior technical leadership roles
  • Demonstrated ability to build and lead high-performing engineering teams
  • Strong decision-making and communication skills to influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Visionary and innovative mindset with deep technical expertise
  • Commitment to exceptional engineering standards and product quality

  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
