Senior Network Engineer
What You Will Do
- Datacenter infrastructure and networking
- Work with modern datacenter technologies: Cisco Nexus 9000, vPC, VXLAN, spine-leaf architectures.
- Provide Tier-2/Tier-3 operations support for complex incidents across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments.
- Work hands-on with Microsoft Azure networking: vWAN, VNets, VPN Gateways, NSGs, routing patterns, and connectivity design.
- Design and troubleshooting IPSec Site-to-Site and Remote Access VPNs across multi-vendor firewall solutions (Cisco, Fortinet, etc.).
- Architect and support large-scale routing environments, including BGP, ISP/MPLS integrations, and performance optimization.
- Deploy and manage enterprise infrastructure: Cisco ASR routers, Cisco Catalyst, Cisco Nexus, ASA/Firepower firewalls.
- Configure and support VLANs, OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, MPLS L2/L3 VPNs, NAT/PAT, ACLs, and advanced routing/security features.
- Perform upgrades, maintenance, patching, and lifecycle management across network/security platforms.
- Coordinate with ISP/MPLS providers and create escalation cases with Cisco, Fortinet, Microsoft, and others.
- Maintain compliance by following standardized change control, configuration policies, and operational best practices.
- What You Bring
- 08+ years of hands-on experience in cloud, enterprise or service provider networks.
- Mastery of high-end Cisco platforms (ASR, Nexus 9000, Catalyst).
- Deep experience with firewalls: Cisco ASA, Firepower/FTD, Fortinet FortiGate.
- Strong knowledge of routing & switching fundamentals and advanced protocols: BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, STP, VLANs, MPLS services.
- Experience building secure hybrid-cloud networks and troubleshooting large-scale, multi-layer issues.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, especially with global teams.
- Experience with Cisco ACI will be preferred
What Qualifies You
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with international clients and multicultural teams.
- Extensive hands-on experience (8+ years) in enterprise and service-provider networking environments, covering design, deployment, and operations.
- Proficiency working with high-end Cisco routing platforms, including ASR series routers for large-scale and high-performance networks.
- Deep expertise with firewall technologies such as Cisco ASA, Cisco Firepower/FTD, and Fortinet FortiGate.
- Advanced experience with Cisco Nexus 9000 platforms, vPC, VXLAN, and modern datacenter network architectures.
- Strong command of core networking protocols and technologies: PAT/NAT, IPSec Site-to-Site VPN, Remote Access VPN, STP, EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, VLANs, ACLs, and MPLS services.
- Highly knowledgeable in routing, switching, and security best practices, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex multi-layer networking issues.
Education & Certifications (Preferred)
- Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (experience can substitute).
- CCIE Routing & Switching, CCIE Security will be preferred.
