Job Description:

As an Experienced Medical Billing Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to patients and healthcare providers through various communication channels, including phone, email, and chat. Your primary focus will be on resolving medical billing issues, answering questions, and providing accurate information to customers in a timely and professional manner.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide exceptional customer service to patients and healthcare providers through various communication channels

  • Resolve medical billing issues, answer questions, and provide accurate information to customers in a timely and professional manner
  • Utilize knowledge of medical billing and insurance procedures to resolve complex issues and provide solutions to customers
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including patient business services and revenue cycle management, to resolve issues and improve customer satisfaction
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions, including phone calls, emails, and chat conversations
  • Identify and escalate complex issues to supervisor or other internal teams as needed
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date on medical billing procedures and industry best practices
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives

Essential Qualifications:

* High school diploma or associate's degree in accounting, business administration, or a related field

  • At least one year of experience in medical billing, customer service, or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of medical billing procedures and insurance regulations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with diverse populations
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and resolve complex issues
  • Basic understanding of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities

Preferred Qualifications:

* Previous experience in a call center or customer service environment

  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements, such as HIPAA and ICD-10
  • Experience with medical billing software and systems
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues
  • Ability to work in a collaborative, shared leadership environment
