Job Responsibilities:
As a Travel Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for:
- Fulfilling travel-specific requests for high-profile clients via phone, ensuring exceptional customer experiences and resolving issues efficiently.
- Researching, planning, and executing customized travel experiences, including booking domestic and international flights, car, and/or hotel travel arrangements.
- De-escalating customer stress when unforeseen travel situations arise, providing expert guidance and support.
- Utilizing knowledge to help clients access their exclusive benefits, including making the most of their Membership Reward points.
- Troubleshooting customer issues related to the use of the travel website and expertly guiding customers through the site.
- Participating in paid training programs to develop skills and knowledge required to become a travel expert.
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences and maintaining a positive, professional attitude.
- Excellent geographical and travel knowledge through professional or personal travel experience.
- Proficiency in navigating multiple systems simultaneously and being internet-savvy.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, structured call center environment, servicing customers through inbound and outbound virtual channels (phone, chat, and email).
- Strong communication and writing skills, with the ability to communicate in a polished, educated, and professional manner.
Work-from-Home Requirements:
To qualify for this position, you must:
- Provide a private, distraction-free at-home office space with a lockable door.
- Procure, set up, and maintain high-speed internet access with a minimum speed of 25 mbps download / 5 mbps upload.
- Use a wired internet connection (cannot use Wi-Fi or Wi-Fi Pods) capable of continuously supporting excellent call quality and high-speed response rate.
- Ensure your internet connection is connected to a modem/router through a hard cable/ethernet cord.
- Have a Smart Phone operating on the most up-to-date software system.
Qualifications:
* High school diploma or equivalent required; college experience preferred.
- Must be able to complete a background check.
- 2+ years of customer service experience required, preferably in a highly interactive hospitality or travel-related role.
- 1 year of Call Center experience required.
- Prior experience in the Hospitality or Travel industries preferred.
