Key Responsibilities

As a Part Time Seasonal Customer Service Agent in Ticket & Gate Operations, you will be responsible for:

• Delivering world-class service to all customers, ensuring their travel experience is smooth and pleasant
• Supporting the Customer Service (Ticket & Gate) team, demonstrating strict adherence to uniform compliance, maintaining professionalism, and exhibiting a positive attitude inside and outside of work
• Greeting customers as the first point of contact, guiding and assisting them with the ticketing and baggage check-in process
• Using computers to sell, print, and reissue tickets, manage the check-in process, and ensure customers have the proper documentation for travel
• Tagging baggage and performing lifting tasks that involve transferring baggage from scales to conveyor belts
• Practicing safety conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures
• Assisting customers with routing, trip planning, and gate boarding, using computers to check seat availability, gate announcements, flight status, and handling baggage
• Operating jet ways to place them in position prior to aircraft arrival and lifting, opening, closing, and securing aircraft doors
• Practicing safety conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures

What You Need to Succeed

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A high school diploma or GED equivalent
• Consistently making safety and security, of self and others, the priority
• Embracing a diverse set of people, thinking, and styles
• Being at least 18 years of age
• Frequently lifting bags or items weighing up to and including 80 pounds
• Being authorized to live and work in the country you are applying to
• Possessing entry-level computer skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills using appropriate grammar, tone, and pronunciation
• Being willing to work a fixed and/or rotating schedule including afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Must be fluent, both written and orally, in English
• Must be fluent, both written and orally, in Spanish
