Job Summary:

We're looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Part-Time Data Entry Specialist to join our team at arenaflex. As a key member of our data management team, you will be responsible for gathering and entering daily client information from our team of Financial and Career Coaches, and regional partners. You will work with staff and our partners to ensure that client documentation is collected and information is entered accurately and in a timely manner. Responsibilities:

As a Part-Time Data Entry Specialist at arenaflex, you will be responsible for:

  • Gathering, sorting, and verifying the accuracy of data from various sources
  • Organizing and maintaining client paper and electronic files in a secure and confidential manner
  • Transferring data from paper formats into computer files, database systems, and spreadsheets with high accuracy and efficiency
  • Responding to queries by accessing relevant files and generating reports as needed
  • Performing modifications, edits, and deletions to the database based on approved documents and ensuring data integrity
  • Complying with data security policies and procedures to protect client confidentiality
  • Ensuring proper use of office equipment and addressing any malfunctions in a timely manner

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Excellent attention to detail and good communication skills to effectively interact with staff and clients
  • Ability to multitask effectively and perform repetitive tasks in a timely manner with minimal supervision
  • Adherence to policies and procedures pertaining to data management and confidentiality
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in data entry or equivalent training
  • Ability to type 40 words per minute (a plus)
  • Experience with various word processors and spreadsheets (a plus)
  • Familiarity with the CalJobs and Salesforce database system (a plus, but not required)
  • Excellent knowledge of correct spelling, grammar, and punctuation

Preferred Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent

  • Ability to pass a background check
  • Experience working with diverse populations and clients who face socio-economic hurdles
  • Self-motivated and team-oriented individual with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
