Ecolab is seeking for an Industry Technical Consultant (ITC) for our Global High-Tech (GHT) segment.

The position can be based anywhere in Europe.

How You’ll Make an Impact:  

  • Support sales teams by identifying opportunities for Nalco Water wastewater‑treatment solutions and conducting site audits to recommend process and cost improvements.

  • Design and implement tailored wastewater‑treatment programs and lead the deployment of new technologies in light‑industry applications, in collaboration with R&D and Marketing.

  • Provide on‑site technical support including troubleshooting, optimisation, jar tests, trial planning, real‑time data collection, KPI tracking, and post‑trial analysis.

  • Deliver technical training to sales teams and customers, and produce technical guides and best‑practice materials.

  • Act as the technical expert in customer meetings and maintain strong relationships to ensure satisfaction and retention.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Environmental Science, or related field.

  • Prior experience in wastewater treatment (industrial or municipal).

  • Familiarity with Nalco Water technologies and digital monitoring systems.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

  • Ability to work independently and travel across Europe as required.
