Associate, Actuary
Fidelity Bank is seeking an Associate Actuary to join their Workplace Consulting Group. The role involves providing advice to clients on benefit programs, with a focus on defined benefit plans, while developing financial and consultative skills in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
- Work on annual pension actuarial valuations to determine cash and accounting requirements
- Support merger and acquisition transactions as they impact corporate benefit programs
- Help clients efficiently lead their employee benefits programs from a financial, compliance, and communications perspective
- Develop custom micro sites for a wide range of corporate compensation and benefits needs
Skills
- Mathematics, Actuarial Science or Quantitative subject major strongly preferred
- Successful completion of at least one actuarial exam toward earning an A.S.A. credential
- Strong writing, presentation, and communications skills
- Intellectual curiosity, creativity, and willingness to be innovative
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective listening, communication, and presentation skills
- A high aptitude to learn new things quickly and adapt to new situations
- Desire for a fast paced and collaborative work environment
