Associate Business Analyst

Univest is seeking an Associate Business Analyst to help turn business needs into solutions that improve customer service. In this hybrid role, you will partner with stakeholders and project teams to gather requirements, map processes, and support testing while developing strong analysis skills through hands-on project work and mentoring.

Responsibilities

  • Support review of project scope and vision with project sponsors
  • Assist with the gathering, documentation, and validation of stakeholder business needs
  • Interpret customer requirements into feasible options and communicate these back to the business stakeholders
  • Support requirements prioritization activities in partnership with project managers and senior analysts Ability to understand technical requirements and assist in translating them into functional documentation and user stories
  • Create process models, diagrams, and charts to provide direction to developers and/or the project team
  • Manage and track the status of requirements throughout the project lifecycle
  • Support backlog maintenance and refinement activities under the guidance of senior analysts or product owners
  • Participate in system and user acceptance testing (UAT), including documentation and coordination support
  • Assist end-users by troubleshooting issues directed to the Support Desk
  • Work with System Admins to analyze issues and trends, define solutions for system issues, implement additional/new procedures, and provide more efficient business practices
  • Develop documentation to memorialize and enable the implementation of new rules
  • Communicate changes, enhancements, and modifications of business requirements — verbal or written— to project managers, sponsors, and other stakeholders
  • Consult with end-users, third party vendors, Salesforce and nCino support, and Univest Tech Support
  • Assist with reviewing Salesforce/nCino releases and documenting potential impacts to users and processes
  • Prepare analysis and reporting to support project teams and leadership decision‑making Accountable for compliance with laws and regulations that apply to this position including the Univest Code of Conduct
  • Perform other duties as assigned

  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and quality
  • Ability to ask thoughtful questions and seek clarification when requirements are ambiguous
  • Demonstrated accountability and follow through on assigned tasks and deliverables

Skills

  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 1-3 years business analysis experience in the financial services industry or a related field (financial services experience preferred)
  • Experience supporting the gathering and documentation of business and technical requirements, including process mapping, requirements gathering, and impact analysis
  • Excellent analytical, conceptual, and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to collaborate with stakeholders and project team members, escalating questions and risks as appropriate
  • Excellent planning, documentation, organizational, and time management skills
  • Self-motivated, able to thrive in a fast-paced, constantly changing team environment
  • Exceptional customer service, listening, written, and oral communication skills
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks while under pressure
  • Proficiency in all aspects of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience With Salesforce, NCino, Or Similar CRM/workflow Platforms Preferred
