Systems Test Engineer
General Dynamics Mission Systems, Inc is a leader in providing high technology solutions for defense and scientific missions. The Systems Test Engineer will support Requirements Management, Test Procedure development, and execute test procedures for Undersea Programs, contributing to the safety and security of the nation.
Responsibilities
- As a Systems Test Engineer (Undersea Programs), you’ll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for supporting Requirements Management, Requirements Derivation/Decomposition, Test Procedure development from derived requirements, and support running developed test procedures for Undersea Programs
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field
- U.S. citizenship is required
- Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information
- Agile experience preferred
- Department of Defense Secret security clearance is preferred at time of hire
- Basic understanding, experience, or interest on both sides of the 'Systems V' (requirements through test)
- Clear understanding of systems engineering concepts, principles, theories, and technical standards
- Creative thinker with ability to multi-task
- Ability to grasp and apply new information quickly and handle increasing responsibilities with growing complexity
