[Remote] Associate Benefit Advisor-Seasonal

As a seasonal Associate Benefit Advisor, you will assist clients in navigating their health insurance choices through phone consultations, ensuring they select the right coverage. This role requires strong sales skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced call center environment.

Responsibilities

• Guide beneficiaries as they navigate their health insurance coverage
• Listen, consult, and advise clients over the phone on their health insurance options
• Ensure customers get the right coverage for their situation
• Complete an online assessment after the application process
• Meet daily sales metrics and goals
• Make outbound calls to follow up on leads and cross sell ancillary products

Skills

• Ability to obtain your resident state health insurance license or currently possess an active health insurance license
• Previous sales experience or a passion for learning and growing in a sales role
• Strong technology skills; ability to easily navigate between multiple systems
• Coachable and teachable
• High level of integrity and customer focus
• Alignment with eHealth's mission and demonstration of values in behaviors, practices, and decisions
• Good technological proficiency as the role requires toggling between multiple computer applications and screens while on the phone
• Must be able to work 5:00AM-5:00PM PST, including weekends as needed
• Must be available to work extended hours during the Annual Enrollment period, October 15th to December 7th
• Undergo extensive background checks, including lifetime criminal background and credit history reports
