Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced full stack data engineer to join our team at arenaflex. As a data engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining large-scale data pipelines that will help us to improve our data quality, reduce costs, and enhance our customer experience. You will work closely with our data science team to develop and implement data-driven solutions that will drive business growth and improve patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
* Design, develop, and maintain large-scale data pipelines that will help us to improve our data quality, reduce costs, and enhance our customer experience
- Collaborate with our data science team to develop and implement data-driven solutions that will drive business growth and improve patient outcomes
- Develop and maintain ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, data set frameworks, and tools for continuous and batch processing
- Work with our data science team to integrate data from various sources, ensuring that it meets data quality and accessibility standards
- Investigate current data technology trends to identify and evaluate key capabilities and suggest solutions
- Explore and recommend new tools and technologies to determine the best approach given the requirements of the model or use case
- Develop and maintain data stores and data models to support information science and other internal clients
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize data-related projects and initiatives
Essential Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 5+ years of relevant work experience in data engineering
- 5+ years of experience with SQL
- 5+ years of experience with Python
- Experience with cloud-based platforms (GCP, AWS, or Azure)
- Strong communication, decision-making, and critical thinking skills
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience with Hadoop, Hive, or PySpark
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
- Experience with healthcare industry data
- Experience with agile development methodologies
Skills and Competencies
* Strong understanding of data engineering principles and practices
- Experience with data warehousing and business intelligence tools
