We are seeking a strategic, results-driven Field Marketing Events Manager to lead the development and execution of high-impact events that generate demand and drive measurable pipeline growth. This role is ideal for a marketing professional who views events as a revenue channel, not simply an operational function. While event logistics such as booths, sponsorships, and activations are part of the role, the primary focus is building event strategies that convert engagement into qualified leads, accelerate sales opportunities, and directly support revenue objectives. This position blends demand generation expertise with the ability to deliver compelling event experiences that resonate with target audiences. Reporting to the Senior Director of Marketing, this individual will own the full event lifecycle —from strategy and execution to lead tracking and ROI analysis, playing a critical role in driving demand and nurturing prospects through strategic field marketing initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive field marketing and events strategy aligned with revenue and pipeline goals.
  • Identify and prioritize in-person and virtual events—including conferences, trade shows, hosted events, and webinars—that drive high-quality lead generation.
  • Own the end-to-end execution of events, including messaging, sponsorships, vendor management, logistics, onsite facilitation, and overall brand presence.
  • Partner closely with Sales to define target accounts, coordinate outreach, and ensure timely, strategic follow-up.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product Marketing, Demand Generation, Business Development, and Customer Marketing to integrate events into broader campaigns.
  • Lead webinar strategy and execution, including topic development, promotion, moderation, and post-event engagement.
  • Manage lead capture, segmentation, CRM tracking, and marketing automation workflows to ensure data integrity and effective nurturing.
  • Measure and report on event performance, including lead quality, engagement, conversion rates, pipeline influence, and revenue impact, continuously optimizing strategy to improve ROI.
  • Align with leadership on budget planning, performance expectations, and overall event investment strategy.

What You Offer...

  • 4+ years of B2B field marketing, event marketing, or demand generation experience.
  • Proven success driving qualified leads and pipeline through events.
  • Strong understanding of demand generation metrics and ROI analysis.
  • Experience partnering closely with Sales in a revenue-focused environment.
  • Excellent project management and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Hands-on experience executing conferences, webinars, and event logistics.
  • Proficiency with HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoom, or similar platforms.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
  • Higher education or edtech experience is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.

What We Offer...

  • The base salary range* for this position is between $60,000-$90,000
  • Remote first workplace!
  • Rewards and recognition programs
  • Learning and development opportunities
  • The ability to make a difference every day for universities trying to grow and students trying to learn!

Only qualified candidates selected for interviews will be contacted. What We Believe... At Modern Campus, we believe that a diverse, equitable and inclusive workplace furthers relevance, resilience, and longevity. We encourage people from all backgrounds, ages, abilities, and experiences to apply for our positions. Modern Campus is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace and is committed to bring on hires regardless of race, color, ancestry, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, age, citizenship, marital status, disability, gender identity or Veteran status (for US candidates).
