Job Responsibilities

As a Senior Pricing Analyst, you will be responsible for:

• Analyzing complex economic data and statistics to make underwriting and pricing recommendations
• Providing session and analytic insights to pricing analysts, internal and external stakeholders
• Leading data analytics, collaborating with internal enterprise partners to develop economic forecasting models, and assisting in documentation
• Presenting pricing suggestions, data analysis, and economic models to management on a regular basis
• Preparing senior-level executive documentation of pricing suggestion economic metric pointers (Executive Governance Memos)
• Utilizing advanced Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access, and SQL techniques to create and maintain superior forecasting and underwriting models
• Identifying and solving pricing problems by acting on evaluation that involves retrieving and analyzing both internal statistics and data obtained from a third party
• Analyzing data and units of data to become accountable for the results portrayed by that evaluation
• Utilizing and creating preferred working methods to analyze and respond to inquiries from internal business partners concerning pricing for diverse lines of business, including retail, specialty, immunizations, and clinics
• Communicating and collaborating with business partners (at all levels of the organization) in different functional areas, including finance, reporting, operations, business development, and sales

Key Requirements

* Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Math, Business, Actuarial Science, or Pharmacoeconomics

• 1 year of labor experience in Pharmacy Benefit management (PBM), Contracting, Finance, Account Management, or Pricing, or a combination of education and experience that provides an equivalent background
• 1+ years of pricing/economic analysis or related experience, including 1+ years of experience in the use of Excel for economic data analysis and/or economic modeling
• Knowledge and understanding of data, business metrics, and operational processes
• Strong critical thinking skills and experience with reading and reporting data to identify issues, trends, or exceptions to drive the development of results and discover solutions
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to provide information to executives and leaders throughout the organization
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask concurrent assignments while meeting deadlines with a high-quality product
• Experience providing customer service to internal and external clients, including meeting quality standards
• Intermediate-level skills in Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Word

Preferred Qualifications

* Advanced pricing and profitability modeling experience

• Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time for business purposes (within state and out of state)
