What you’ll achieve

As the Software Test Lead, you will be responsible for leading quality assurance efforts across products and projects, ensuring that all software meets defined quality standards prior to release.

This role encompasses test planning, continuous improvement of testing processes, and hands-on involvement in test execution and test activities.

The Test Lead works closely with development and product teams to ensure alignment on quality objectives and successful delivery of high-quality software solutions making a profound impact throughout the healthcare sector.

You will:

  • Prepare test plans, and test approach for projects and estimate testing efforts, timelines, and resource requirements
  • Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies
  • Monitor test progress to ensure timely delivery and oversee test case design, execution, and defect tracking
  • Ensure proper test coverage (functional, business process, SIT, regression, integration, UAT support), review test artifacts (test cases, scripts, reports) and compliance/ certification testing for quality
  • Conduct testing, troubleshooting and analysis of tasks on various phase(s) of development, including integration, systems testing, interoperability testing.
  • Maintain record of test progress and test results; prepare report as appropriate.
  • Review Software functional designs or user stories
  • Prepare detailed testing documentation, review the test scripts prepared by test team members.
  • Adhere to test disciplines and methodology for Quality assurance
  • Preparation of detailed test status report for stakeholders and preparation of documentation for release of software
  • Look for opportunities to automate and assist Healthcare support as required

Essential Requirements

  • Healthcare‑related degree, or a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a related field
  • Experience of working with an offshore development model and distributed team model
  • Experience in automated testing (using Selenium)
  • 7+ years software testing experience
  • Systematic approach to test planning and testing
  • Understanding and working knowledge of systems being developed
  • Experience testing Healthcare related software
  • Agile software methodologies experience
  • ISTQB or equivalent certifications
  • Able to learn and desire to pursue learning opportunities
  • Proven Experience in SQL Server and able to interact with database with Queries and in IIS
  • HL7, FHIR API testing experience
  • Experience Testing Web services and in Integration testing

Desirable Requirements

  • Experience in Testing on Mobile devices
  • Desirable experience using coded –UI and soap UI
  • Hands on experience using TFS/JIRA as Defect tracking tool is desirable
  • Ability to work under pressure, resilient, whilst maintaining flexible and positive approach
  • Able to manage multiple tasks, by swiftly adapting in a rapidly changing environment
