The Job We are seeking a highly motivated Account Manager focused on account value realization and revenue expansion. This role is responsible for nurturing existing customer relationships, identifying growth opportunities, and maximizing account value through strategic upselling, cross-selling, and long-term partnership development. The ideal candidate combines strong commercial acumen with technical curiosity and thrives in a fast-evolving, high-impact industry.

Account Growth & Revenue Expansion

  • Own and grow a portfolio of strategic accounts, with a focus on increasing revenue, margin, and customer lifetime value
  • Identify and execute upsell and cross-sell opportunities across our battery systems, services, and software solutions
  • Develop and maintain account growth plans aligned with customer goals and market trends

Customer Relationship Management

  • Build deep, trusted relationships with key stakeholders (technical, operational, and executive levels)
  • Act as the primary point of contact and advocate for the customer internally
  • Conduct regular business reviews to align on performance, opportunities, and future needs

Strategic Insight & Opportunity Development

  • Understand customer applications, challenges, and industry dynamics to proactively propose solutions
  • Collaborate with engineering, product, and operations teams to tailor offerings
  • Monitor market trends in energy storage and lithium-ion technologies to identify expansion opportunities

Commercial Execution

  • Lead contract renewals, negotiations, and pricing strategies within assigned accounts
  • Forecast revenue accurately and manage pipeline within CRM systems
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention

What you need to have…

  • Proven experience in account management, sales, or business development
  • Proven track record of growing existing accounts and exceeding revenue targets
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills

A big plus if…

  • Experience in energy storage, lithium-ion batteries, electrification, or related technical industries
  • Ability to understand and communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder B2B accounts
