Account Executive (UK)

Remote, USA Full-time Posted 2026-06-18

Marosa is a leading FinTech company, specialising in tax technology. Our mission is to simplify global VAT compliance for multinational companies through powerful software solutions.

We’re looking for a motivated, strategic Sales Account Executive to own new business acquisition in the UK and EMEA. This role is critical to Marosa’s growth and will focus on selling our core VAT Compliance Services and SaaS solutions to mid-market and enterprise clients. You will manage the full sales cycle, work closely with Marketing and Partner teams to drive pipeline, and act as a trusted advisor to prospects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive new customer acquisition across mid-market and enterprise segments in the UK and EMEA.

  • Own the full sales cycle from outbound prospecting and qualification through discovery, demo, negotiation and close.

  • Use a consultative, solution-oriented sales approach tailored to each client’s finance, compliance, and operations needs.

  • Build and execute a territory plan aligned with Marosa’s broader EMEA strategy and revenue targets.

  • Collaborate with Marketing to design and support region-specific campaigns that generate qualified leads and increase market visibility.

  • Work with Partner Management to identify and activate channel opportunities and referral sources.

  • Monitor UK market and regulatory trends (e.g., VAT, Making Tax Digital) to position Marosa as a trusted partner.

  • Provide regular pipeline and forecast updates; capture customer feedback to help shape product and go-to-market priorities.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of B2B sales experience in FinTech, ERP, or tax/finance technology.

  • Strong knowledge of UK indirect tax / VAT landscape and compliance requirements.

  • Experience engaging with or selling into ERP ecosystems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics).

  • Excellent written and spoken English; strong prospecting (email, phone, social), presentation, negotiation and consultative selling skills.

  • Ability to work UK business hours, UK-based or legally entitled to work in the UK, and available for regular travel.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Existing relationships with channel partners or ERP integrators in the UK.

  • Additional European languages.

If you’re a driven salesperson who enjoys building pipeline, closing complex deals and becoming a trusted advisor to finance and compliance teams, we’d love to hear from you.
